Flex Printing - T-shirts Printing
T-shirt printing is a complex subject with many techniques. For large volume we use Silk Screen Printing and for small to medium print runs we use flex. Flex is far superior to digital printing as the printing is made from solid coloured flex, a bit like vinyl but we finish this with a special press and some other secrets which give it a lovely matt finishing and very soft matt touch. This is not the nasty plastic feel you get on cheap printing, it is more comparable to Silk Screen. Our flex is specially made for the sporting market therefore very durable and withstands all types of abuse normal printing would just either fade or crack and peel, it can be washed up to 60c (though I was at 30c). Flex printing can be a long task during the cutting and weeding part depending on the text or graphics. Colours can overlap and they actually inlay into each other, so you can make up various designs.
